It is unacceptable to not have card reader machines and notify the person after that they will have to pay in euros upfront. I was not able to access an ATM close by before the taxi. So I had to go into the airport and withdrawal, causing many extra charges and fees. Very poor experience and will never recommend this again unless you have a lot of cash at all times when traveling.
